    Alternative Response Technology for Capping the Deepwater Horizon Oil Well & for Oil Spill Cleanup

URGENT.  Pressure created by  cut appearing on far side means you must IMMEDIATELY insert and tap in place a small QUARTER SECTION WEDGE same size as the CUT SAW DEPTH OF BLADE.  Quarter section wedge must be forced into the opening allowing both sides to vent but keep from pushing over onto next cut.  ROV operator can with help of CRANE lift slightly on the riser bent pipe creating pressure on the wedge then the diamond drill operator can make a cut across the back following the same curve which is blowing on the other side. 

After SECOND cut across back another quarter or 1 eighth wedge then you can change angle of the saw and start toward the underneath section with ROV paying attention to the wedges or another person in the control room watching the wedge for large opening which would signal crane to stand bye because it is shifting and closing on wedges thus cut can continue.

Keep a little more tension lifting the bent pipe section UP which will allow the diamond round saw to cut almost through with the crane operator ready to MOVE cut length OFF of the BOP area to the sea floor quickly as all oil, water, mud and gas will not escape out of the cut 21 inch riser uncontrolled with full pressure.  One quarter wedges with stop points and lanyards will stop the wedges from going inside the piping.

Once the final cut is made get ready with water pressurized to push away the heavy oil, mud, gas mixture and temporarily you could place a larger pipe with 90 degree ell over the pipe and blow the full oil and gas away  from the work area by turning same held by crane in left or right direction to keep flow away from bop for inspection. Lifting UP slightly will allow inspection with lights of the cut area of the riser to see if it too is bent or out of shape.

Frankly that would be the excellent time to have that Branko R. Babic Invention with flow thru pipe just going inside riser pipe but you will agree the depth is minimized now with the cut so low but still it might be something to look at IF you cannot find the replacement Flange to make up another when with the 90 and pipe you can put the temporary diverter over the cut pipe allowing you to even consider cutting all bolts to the flange if you can get another one rigged up. 

JUST REMEMBER WHICH BOLTS ARE INSERTED FROM TOP TO BOP WITH NUTS AND WASHERS AND REMEMBER WHICH ONES ARE BOLTS FED FROM BOTTOM PUSHED THROUGH TO TOP FLANGE TO JOIN UP WITH NUTS AND WASHERS OR SPACERS.

I have used the WEDGE one quarter section forced into a cut area to allow me to lift the bent section slightly holding my wedge area but still allowing flow then final cut will release RISER and allow retrieval of wedges with bent stop section like an L shaped steel rod similar thickness as cut by the diamond saw.

Roger. Will see what else they can get TRAPPED trying to cut stressed pipe from the side or underneath.  ROV operators are not Construction Supervisors with stressed pipe.  Still believe the JUNK SHOT with lead balls and even perhaps baseball size steel would shut down the flow at the bent section but NOW they have cut the pipe and better have it held in place by two cranes or it will PEEL really destroying the riser section all the way down into the FLANGE.  Why they will not get a new flange from the BOP manufacturer and cut the other one loose then swing the new flange over and lower down….is beyond me.

They need to put professional contractors in a meeting with ROV operators to introduce them to cutting stressed pipe and even how to cut pipe on supported surfaces using cranes to hold pipe and pick up or remove pipe with slings properly to prevent injury to personnel or equipment at any depth.

I watch occasionally BUILDING BIGGER where they build Liquid Natural Gas tanks and we even welded sections in Mulberry of some similar rigs where the crane operators really got my respect as a Boilermaker/Welder with Local 433 in Tampa.  The USCG have perhaps a similar group of ratings like machinist mate and boiler tech who could tell Rear Admiral Landry to check with the SEA BEES and also U.S. Naval Divers on such cutting methods as they repair ship items and special underwater pumps no doubt.

I remember clearly talking with Irrigation Contractors pulling water from 1,000 feet down for sprinklers and fire sprinkler systems using special filters on the bottom under the submersible pump to keep trash out while they pump the water UP to the surface where tanks store it and pump it higher for use on Fire or Irrigation sprinklers.  Cutting in to my ideas is training and experience working with these State Certified and Licensed Professionals since 1974 in Florida.

We were watching the ROV with cut saw failing to get clean cuts and felt sorry for the ROV operator who did not obviously have a Contractor qualified with such a saw in the control room seated beside him.  NO CUTTING AND NO CRITICAL WORK SHOULD BE DONE OR ATTEMPTED WITHOUT SPECIAL ADVISERS LICENSED FOR UNDERWATER CUTTING OF SUPER HEAVY LONG SECTIONS OF STEEL RISER PIPE  AS THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY THAT THE ROV OPERATOR LISTENS TO THE PROBLEMS OF SUCH CUTS AND SHEAR BLADE BEING ON THE UNDER SIDE OF A STRESSED PIPE GROUP OF RISERS WAS ACTUALLY STUPID AND DANGEROUS AT 5,000 FEET AS THEY WOULD HAVE TO USE DIAMOND WHEEL CUTTERS TO FREE THE UNIT TO GET IT BACK TO THE SURFACE UNTIL OXY-ACETYLENE UNITS COULD CUT AWAY THE JAMMED PIPE WHEN IF THEY WOULD HAVE PUT THE BLADE ON TOP AND SUPPORTED THE CUT WITH CRANES HOLDING FAST PULLING UP ON THE PIPE GOING TO THE SEA BED YET ANOTHER CRANE HOLDING THE BENT RISER PIPE BEFORE THE CUTTER WOULD HAVE CUT IT IMMEDIATELY.  CRANE WOULD HAVE TO PULL THE PIPE UP AWAY FROM THE LINES HOLDING THE HYDRAULIC CUTTER AS IT WOULD BE TRAPPED WITH A FALL ARC WHICH MIGHT CAUSE DAMAGE EVEN TO THE BOP CONNECTION THAT NO ONE COULD SEE.

Sort of unbelievable for me to watch feeble attempts more than three times resulting in jammed teeth cutting wheels then the hydraulic shear pushed over to cut from the bottom on a stressed section.

Any County Worker with the Utilities Department or City Utilities specialist with steel water or air pipe could advise the USCG personnel and be sitting on the ROV ship with the ROV operators telling them first what to expect from tension of steel that long that deep.  Then they would stay with the ROV operator and guide him cutting away sections of pipe away from the riser bend to the sea bed. Trying three or four cuts on the sea bed but again remember that suggestion about putting water under pressure through fan spray to keep the vision clear between ROV and work.  Once you cut the RISER off the sheer weight of the escaping OIL will go up and then come back in a blob over the BOP unless you blow it away and once the cut is clean have a crane with a close fitting 45 degree ell short section of pipe, even flanged, then second 45 degree ell and straight section of pipe perhaps 20 feet long to take the flow of everything away from the work area until totally ready to work.  You can attach any short smaller pipe reducer on the pipe and take the oil, gas and water UP to the surface but primarily you are trying to push the vision obstruction material away from the work area.

Once you are ready to remove the FLANGE and move over with another crane with the flange at BOP TOP level in the water undisturbed ready for mating with the new BOP FLANGE FEMALE then the bolts can be tack welded going DOWN already and once placed properly the ROV can use the socket with nuts and giant washer perhaps to lock it down with another round shutoff valve up toward the surface on that flotation rigged riser now connected to the BOP.  My concern is everyone will forget to attach the CHECK VALVE keeping all hydraulic oil inside the lines with a connection to VENT salt water and debris out of the hydraulic line somewhere on the BOP.   AGAIN READ THE MANUAL AND CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER AS THIS CONTAMINATION MUST HAVE HAPPENED IN THE PAST !

I am betting heavily on the KILL VALVE AND CHOKE VALVE FORCING LEAD BALLS until the TOP BENT RISER SECTION STOPS FLOWING…..that gives you time to regroup, make a new TOP FLANGE, weld bolts if necessary, insert check valve and be ready to put a shutoff valve on the riser pipe then rejoin all five LINES welded perhaps by GE in a shop with special flotation over all areas then give you special flotation rated pipe to go to the surface and at say 200 feet have another shutoff on a flange to flange with bypassed hydraulic and mud lines…..GET THE PICTURE !

Florida is in danger and the United States may take 10-20 years to recover from this NATIONAL DISASTER which no one would take command and shut down the BOP or stop the leaks when we all now know it is solvable within 8 hours by a good machine shop with full specs designing a BOP TOP FLANGE and inserting a new one then going on with all of our lives and using those deep water SUMPS, SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS, SUMP PUMPS FOUND IN LIFT STATIONS AND SKIMMERS WHICH CAPTURE ALL LIQUID AND WATER FOR 24 INCHES DOWN IN THE WATER FORCING IT UP INTO A SECTION OF PIPE WHERE IT FLOWS INTO A BARGE ENTRY POINT TO BE SEPARATED AND WATER PUMPED BACK IN SEA CLEAR WITHOUT ANY OIL.  

Inventions are out there to use long MATS of special material to pull water and oil into the barge, squeeze out the oil and send the mat back down into the mess plus skim oil like one uses a dustpan forcing it over sand stacks so the water goes on through and is pumped away then the oil pushed into a barge and when it get full another barge comes into the picture and the routine goes over and over with barges going out to deep draft barges to unload OIL and come back for more.   Those Cute LANDING CRAFT can be equipped with skimmers and load all oil and water into landing craft to be taken to VACTOR units which separate the oil and water like the local ROTO ROOTER vacuum/vactor trucks but super powerful suction units pulling oil deep from the ocean up into a barge.  VAACTOR TRUCK PULL LIFT STATION CONTENTS UP INTO A HOLDING TANK ON A TRUCK THEN IT IS TAKEN AND DUMPED INTO A BARGE PERHAPS.  OVER AND OVER ….BUT THE OIL WILL BE PICKED UP BY THE SUPER SUCTION AND WATER FALL AWAY OVER SPECIAL MATS OF MATERIAL WHICH RUNS TO ROLLERS AS THE WATER RUNS THROUGH THE MATERIAL…….PICTURE IT !

All CITIES, COUNTIES AND EVEN U.S. GOVERNMENT INSTALLATIONS HAVE THESE!

SPECIAL SUMP PUMPS AND GRINDER PUMPS IN LIFT STATIONS CAN PULL ALL

OF THE OIL FROM DEEP WATER UP TO THE SURFACE BY JUST HAVING RIGS LOWER

PIPE WITH PUMPS IN SHEDULE 900 PVC MOVED AROUND AND TURNED ON SUCKING

OIL UP OFF THE AREA JUST ABOVE THE SAND INLAND RECOVERING ALMOST ALL

PATCHES.    CHECK IT OUT WITH A 55 GALLON DRUM OF OIL PICKED UP ! IT WORKS!

The EPA or DEP has a manual of exactly how to build these things called skimmers….. I prefer to use ROOTO ROOTER TRUCKS ON BARGES SUCKING EVERY OUNCE OF OIL WITH SKIMMERS INTO THE BARGE !

Centrifuge spinning of water through slits covered with fabric and OIL flowing down to another section where it is moved into a BARGE even if you have to squeeze rollers is an option.  Me I would think the GIANT MAT OF SPECIAL ABSORBENT MATERIAL WHERE THE OIL STAYS IN SAME AND ROLLERS SQUEEZE IT INTO TANKS like an assembly line material on rollers is an option worth consideration as the material will keep running over and over while the water is thrown off on the curve like a roller coaster running at Disney or Busch Gardens.  The MAT material holding the oil would go through rollers fast enough but the sudden turning at 90 degrees fast would throw water off of the surface into channels to send it back to the Gulf.   Such would allow ALL SKIMMERS to function and recover perhaps 98 percent of ALL OIL SKIMMED !  Check with the professionals Rear Admiral Allen.   Even super FANS can blow with blowers across the oil soaked matting before it heads to the rollers and all water would be sent through special slits into channels to the sea without OIL.

I am sure the KEVIN COSTNER CENTRIFUGE would work but to me the old shallow draft Flat Bottom AIRCRAFT ENGINE “AIR BOATS” USED TO SKIM THE EVERGLADES CAN BE BROUGHT UP AND USED AT SEA TO SKIM THE MARSHES AND THOSE ENTIRE FRONT SKIMMER UNITS LOOKING LIKE DUST PANS REACHING 12 INCHES BELOW THE SURFACE CAN COLLECT A LOT OF OIL AND PUSH IT INTO THE TANKS WHERE PUMPS TRANSFER OIL AND WATER TO ASSOCIATED BARGE CARRIED BEHIND SAME TO GIVE THE BARGE TO ANOTHER LARGER BARGE OFF THE SHALLOWS THEN GRAB ANOTHER COLLECTOR BARGE BEHIND THE ODD FLAT BOTTOM BOAT USED IN THE EVERGLADES AND ONLY REFUELING WOULD BE NECESSARY. To think of not using these flat bottom GIANT PROPELLER ”AIR”  BOATS FROM THE EVERGLADES is unbelievable as they can be brought from all lakes, rivers and streams on flat cars the put into service in marsh lands with those 40 channel CB Radio’s with magnetic mount antennae assigned specific call signs and channels staying off channel 9 and channel 19 for this work with support refueling vessels and barges plus these can be used with or without extra personnel.

It is now after Midnight so Ralph must retire and sleep to dream of new ideas perhaps.

Rear Admiral Landry:

I do not have to draw a picture of a 90 foot super heavy straw sticking out of the earth nor do you need a picture of a 20 foot straw super heavy over the side of the BOP crimping the short RISER.

CHOP SAW with Hydraulic Blades should cut away the STRAIGHT four steel line section close to the Flange bent RISER FIRST then you could control any cut directly over the flange.  CUT FROM BACK SECTION 180 DEGREES on riser AFTER you get the weight OFF.  Such means the Crane MUST hold or even pull UP on some pipe and this is solved by cutting near the crane line as they hold back from the surface.

Remember the vessel is going UP AND DOWN slightly so when you decide to cut HYDRAULIC BLADE MUST START AT TOP PIPES GOING AWAY FROM THE BENT RISER ONLY CRUSHING DOWN AND SLICING OFF PIPE WHICH IS HOPEFULLY HELD BY THE SECOND CRANE and the pipe will fall loose then controlled by CRANE 1 on the BOP side of the cut, all will be held. 

Then take the HYDRAULIC BLADE CUTTER and cut another section of pipe some 3 feet or so from the BOP RISER BEND….such will allow you to have nearly NO pressure on the RISER BEND and you can use the DIAMOND SAW to make three slices….One half way down….down from the top bend measuring perhaps on a chart 45 degrees letting the back of the stressed section open up.  Such will allow the same small section to be pulled on slightly by the crane operator with tension straight up thus allowing the diamond cutter from Oceaneering to make another cut while flow of gas and oil is no restriction on the other side.  

Who gives a darn about whether the cut is perfect as you CLEAR THE WEIGHT PULLING DOWN ON THE BEND then you can rotate the saw around the riser at will cutting 2 inches deep all around to make it smoother right through the 90 degrees, move over on the other side and cut 90 degrees only then move with Crane holding riser above cuts to cut the third 90 while you have pulled out and there is only one cut 90 degrees to make with crane holding or pulling up opening the cut.  Later the bottom near flange cut can be done the same way and nothing will bind the diamond saw from Oceaneering.   Such will help Oceaneering in any future work as they are not realizing the pressure pulling pipe ruptured over will jam the saw and no one ever called Underground Utility Experts let alone Plumbing Contractors who have faced such conditions on land or shallow water.   Depth is no problem if you realize the surface vessel with CRANE is MOVING.

Stop thinking about 5,000 feet.  You have an 8 story building with bent heavy pipe bending a 21 inch riser.  Cut away all pipes except that directly over flange….releases weight.  Make stupid odd cuts in V formation but release the bad bent pipe just above and below the bend.  Make a cute perfect cut of the other half near the flange later and trim it later….right now get the weight away and see how silly it is not using WATER HOSES to push the flow away and where is the two 45 degree ell units you are going to lower over same….much like lowering a bent PVC PIPE over a sprinkler in your yard folks…… Duhhhhh ?  It will remove the flow of oil and gas from the work site allowing you to have a funnel effect until you get your cut cleaner.

Remember Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure Plug with shutoff and flange going above the BOP.   MAKE ONE IN THE WELDING SHOP as a sample, check it and remember the SLEEVE idea which will be pressed OVER the damaged riser even 2 feet will work. WHAT DO I KNOW EH ?

Had you advised the ROV operator didn’t have an underground contractor or utility contractor on SKYPE talking to them perhaps this entire event taking minutes is now taking super HOURS.   NO CUT…. Garbage as BP cannot get a clean cut with Diamond Saw with pressure and oil pushing once you attempt to cut straight across….make three cuts joining then trim it perfect later folks..

NEED SOME OF MY SKYPE TIME TO MAKE A CALL EXPERTS ?

Rear Admiral Landry and others including Oceaneering:

Since 042610 Ruth DeLaMater Bundy and I have attempted to get information across to BP and others making the decisions that the SECRET TO STOPPING THE LEAK AND RECOVERY OF ALL OIL AND GAS WAS KNOWN.  Sadly no one reviewed material with the TRUE EXPERTS who work in similar leak problems ALL OVER THE WORLD !

Keep this in the back of your mind:  The FLANGE TOP section of the BOP connection could have been cut away long ago had you removed the piping pushing down on same and pulling.

Now that the FLANGE is clear, the BOP manufacturer must have had one or plans to make on somewhere on the Planet that could be made in a big machine shop with all holes and piping to allow the GE FLOTATION 21 INCH RISER to be connected in hours to the TOP of the BOP by the new flange with shutoff and female flange above shutoff.  Oddly the use of a NEW flange only had to result in Oceaneering CUTTING away the bolts connecting the present flange, removing same and crane lowering the new flange onto the BOP with a perfect seal that could not leak.

Alternate was clean cut perhaps 3 feet above the BOP flange then insertion of the Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure Plug vertically sealing the flow and allowing BP to draw off a large amount of oil, gas and water perhaps to the surface and any emergency would allow shutting down the rig BOP forever.

Here I observed the piping cut away, no attempt to make a clean cut around the riser which may indeed be damaged ….the reason why we recommended getting another FLANGE to connect pipe and a shutoff above same.

BP, TRANS OCEAN AND WHOMEVER never listened about making a large pipe just barely tapered inside thick wall pipe going down over the FLANGE FOR A PERFECT MATCH AND SEAL as special material could be like a giant O ring inside sealing perfectly against the TWO existing FLANGE SURFACES with special threaded rods using tapped BOLT screws tightened against the bottom FLANGE steel holding everything in place but allowing a full bore perhaps 36 inch pipe with shutoff toward the surface to hook up with the neat GE 21 inch Flotation pipe.   NO LEAKS AT ALL.

Instead the SOMBRERRO type unit will leak as it cannot match up with the riser now bent and damaged extending out of the top flange mainly because the sealed compartment will not match up perfectly and machined to seal on the top of the top flange.   Thus WEEKS OR MORE will have leaks all over the Gulf not being able to stop same when the solution was given but not from an expert hired by BP or College Professor looking in a BOOK but from a State of Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor with too many years experience with water, gas and sewage….all which would work at 5,000 feet by well qualified crane operators and well qualified ROV operators.

I really appreciate the Courtesies shown an Old Decorated American Veteran by the various Lieutenants with the USCG and lower enlisted who have talked with me in the past via internet and phone. I am shocked the DAMAGE CONTROL SPECIALIST OF THE NAVY SHIPS AND SUBMARINES DID NOT GET COUNSELED ON HOW TO SOLVE THIS LEAK EVEN THOUGH THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE FLANGE MIGHT BE 36 INCHES….THEY DO MAKE THICK WALL 36 INCH PIPE WHICH COULD BE WELDED ON SURFACE LOCATIONS TO GIANT HEAVY WHEELED VALVE OR EVEN THE “MEGA FLANGE CONNECTORS” SUCH AS SERIES 2100

Someone really needs to look at the Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure PLUG which would STOP all flow or the CPP with flow through Pipe which could work in 2 feet of riser which is obviously there. My money would have been on a NEW FLANGE or putting that Super Thick STEEL PIPE OVER THE FLANGE machined to seal against the PERFECTLY ROUND AND PERFECT TOP CUT ON THE TOP FLANGE WHERE THE RISER IS COMING OUT.   It would be OBVIOUS machine grooving or cutting of the thick wall pipe to critical bevels would have allowed a welded shutoff and also attachment of a reducer welded with flange to accept the GE pipe then YOU WOULD NOT HAVE ANY LEAKING OIL as the free section over the second flange would have super tapped holes with super bolts perhaps 2 inch holding unit to the bottom FLANGE while the pressure above the pipe would consist of weights much like giant circular weights of a weight lifter bar before the shutoff wheeled gate valve and short pipe with reducer and flange for 21 inch flotation riser pipe.

INSTEAD OF USING THE OBVIOUS SOLUTION now BP, with full permission of the President and USCG will unleash a leak into the GULF risking more damage, attempt a DRILL into the CASING 7” TO 36 “ AREAS ACTING AS A RISER which is dangerous to SHUT DOWN THE WELL ? OR DRAW OFF THE DEEP WELL CONTENTS INTO ANOTHER RISER WITH UPRIGHT BOP WHICH COULD FAIL IN THE FUTURE AS THEIR RISER PIPE TO THE NEW WELL CASING DRILL IS STILL NOT FLOTATION GE PIPE AND THE NEW BOP WILL BE STRAIGHT UP WHEN IT SHOULD BE LYING ON IT’S BACK IN THE GULF FLOOR WITH TEE HAVING SPECIAL SHUTOFF VALVES.

NO ONE USED ANY MACHINED BEVELED 12 INCH WASHER WITH FLOW THRU PIPE WITH OR WITHOUT SLEEVE THEN PUSHED TWO FEET INTO THE BOP FLANGE TOP TO MAKE A PERFECT SEAL….ACTUALLY THE RISER IS WEAKENED AND MAY REALLY BE A PROBLEM BUT THEN A REAMER COULD REAM THE PIPE INSIDE THE FLANGE AND A COUNTER PRESSURE PLUG COUL HAVE SHUT OF THIS WELL IN 8 HOURS FLAT FOLKS……BP WANT’S THE FLOW OF OIL AND GAS AND ALSO DESIRES TO PUT IN ANOTHER DRILL RIG TAPPING ON THE SIDE OF THE PIPE CASING FOR DEEPWATER HORIZON AND THIS COULD BLOW OUT REALLY BIG BUT AMERICA MUST TALK TO PEMEX ABOUT IXTOC 1 IN 1979….AS THE SAME PLAYERS WERE THERE AND LEARNED NOTHING.  

FOR MY MONEY I WOULD USE WHAT WAS DISCUSSED, SAVE THE MILLIONS ON MAKING A RELIEF WELL AND GET THE OIL AND GAS UP FROM THE BOP TOP  !   But that is me !  NOT YOU OR NOT MY PRESIDENT !  

GOD HELP AMERICA AS BP DOES NOT HAVE THE SAME DESIRE TO SECURE THE LEAK, ONLY PULL OFF THE OIL AND THEY FAILED WITH IXTOC 1 AND WILL FAIL WITH THIS WELL AT THE COST OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE……..IS THAT WORTH IT MR. PRESIDENT ?

I went to sleep for three hours and woke up with a frightening thought watching CNN show the odd cut riser and BP indicating the leak may be there until December 2010.

I sincerely HOPE someone really WALKS OUTSIDE THE COMMERCIAL OR GOVERNMENT BUILDING and asks Maintenance to show them the LARGEST BACKFLOW ASSEMBLY and once found looks at the FLANGE connections and thinks for one moment about how to get a PERFECT SUPER TIGHT SEAL OVER ANY FLANGE.  Keep this in mind.  21 inch riser OD OR ID may mean a 24 inch SUPER SLICK AND FORMED FLANGE LEAVING PERHAPS 1 inch ALL AROUND SLICK TOP FOR CONTACT WITH THE SO CALLED TOP HAT THAT SOME IDIOT THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO PUT OVER THE BENT 21 INCH RISER WITH THIS LATEST SOMBRERO 5 UNIT.   BP admitted there were going to be LEAKS simply because no one made a SKYPE CALL OR LONG DISTANCE CALL TO FLORIDA OR CHECKED WITH THE U.S. NAVY OR U.S. COAST GUARD DAMAGE CONTROL EXPERTS.   Follow with me for a moment.  Size OD for a 24 inch FLANGE is 32 inches with Bolt diameter 1 and 3 eights taking 20 bolts 1 and 1 quarter X 5 and 1 half.   Obviously NOT the perhaps 8 bolt FLANGE shown but do not give up…… take a 28 inch LENGTH OF 34 INCH PIPE WITH THICK WALL STEEL OBJECT ROUND.

FIRST --- DRILL OUT A 22 INCH INCH HOLE OR WELD A 22 INCH THICK WALL PIPE TO THIS HOLE SO YOU CAN ATTACH A WEIGHT OBJECT AND HAVE A FLANGE ATTACHED ALLOWING AN UNDERGROUND WHEEL CONTROLLED GATE VALVE .

SECOND--- TAKE THE 22 INCH HOLE OBJECT WITH 22 INCH WELDED PIPE OVER TO A MACHINE SHOP IMMEDIATELY THEN USE THE LATHE TO CUT OUT A 32 INCH OD CUT SOME 12 INCHES DEEP INSIDE ALLOWING THE INTERIOR TO JUST CLEAR THE 32 INCH FLANGE BY  MILIMETERS BUT ONCE IT CONNECTS WITH WEIGHT IT WOULD MAKE A PERFECT SEAL ON THE UNDISTURBED FLANGE LIKE YOU LOOKED AT OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.

THIRD ---  TAKE THE NEAT DONUT MODIFIED OUT OF THE LATHE JAWS AND ATTACH GIANT WEIGHTED BARBELL WEIGHTS PERHAPS 8 FEET IN DIAMETER AND 4 FEET THICK THEN ON TOP OF THAT AREA WELD YOUR SUPER HIGH PRESSURE GATE VALVE AND BEYOND THAT MAKE UP THE FLANGE TO ATTACH TO THE GE RISER PIPE.

FOURTH --- USE SPECIAL GASKET MATERIAL ALLOWING THE 22 INCH RISER HOLE TO BE MACHINED OUT UNDERNEATH TO THE PRECISE AREA TO BE SEALED ON THE FLANGE RIM WHERE IT WILL CLEAR ALL BOLTS AND NUTS LEAVING AT LEAST 2 INCHES PERHAPS FOR THE RIG TO SET ON WITH SUPER WEIGHT LIKE A WASHER SEALING THE OIL AND GAS LEAK AND ALLOWING BP TO BE CHECKED IMMEDIATELY BY THE STOELTING ULTGRASCRIBE POLYGRAPH 8 CHANNEL LAPTOP BECAUSE IT WOULD APPEAR YOU HAVE TRUE TERRORISTS WITH SUPER MONEY BACKING IN YOUR MIDST.

EVERY FORMER NAVY MAN GOING THROUGH DAMAGE CONTROL TRAINING OR EVERY UNDERGROUND UTILITY AND STATE CERTIFIED PLUMBING CONTRACTOR ALONG WITH FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTORS KNOW YOU CAN QUICKLY MACHINE ANY THICK ROUND STEEL OBJECT CUTTING OR BORING A HOLE PERFECTLY IN SAME, HOLDING IN A MACHINE LATHE MAKING SURE THE HOLE IS PERFECT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THEN CUTTING AWAY 12 INCHES OF METAL ALLOWING A PERFECT FIT OVER A FLANGE THEN UP 12 INCHES INSIDE THIS HUGE WASHER ONE WOULD MACHINE OUTWARD PERHAPS 1 INCH BY 4 INCHES TO ALLOW PERFECT CONTACT WITH THE FLAT UNOBSTRUCTED SURFACE OF THE FLANGE MAKING A PERFECT SEAL. 

FIFTH -----  The block could have bottom 2 inches of the 12 inches bored all around with holes which would be tapped and allow bolts to protrude turned by ROV or socket or BOX WRENCH clamping down on the bottom flange to hold it in place securely.

Earlier this old Veteran told you to get another BOP flange for the top ready.  NO ONE CARED TO CHECK with the Manufacturer on the exact measurements of existing BOP flanges which might be 6 inches thick for each Flange and a specific OD which is NOT illustrated above folks.  The BOP flange will be perfectly ROUND and smooth with at least 2 inches perhaps of clearance from the outside of the flange to the first contact with a BOLT and THAT IS YOUR TARGET to set something like the SEALED TOP HAT SIX which will not only seal but have sufficient weights to prevent it being raised as you have flow thru BRANKO R. BABIC Counter Pressure PLUG idea incorporated and instead of placing OVER a pipe you place the unit OVER A PERFECTLY SMOOTH FLANGE which is GOD SEND IN DISGUISE!

HOW MANY BP EXPERTS DOES IT TAKE TO SCREW IN A LIGHT BULB AT A DESK LIGHT ?

Rear Admiral Landry --- You can have anyone go to CAMERON the manufacturer of the BOP to get the exact OD, thickness and CLEARANCE IN INCHES from the rim of the Flange to any contact with a bolt or NUT which leaves plenty of room to shut this nightmare down.  ALL YOU NEED is to have a flat seal and the water department can share what they use in County or City departments for that task which is like a special washer used inside backflow assembly components using flange to flange connections.  THAT can be placed carefully OVER the flowing pipe and be waiting on the TOP of the flange to seal with the inside cut for that same purpose and THERE WILL BE NO LEAKS of any air, water or GAS.

PAINT THE DARNED THING RED, WHITE AND BLUE FOR OUR MILITARY PAST AND PRESENT PLUS FUTURE PLEASE !

Remember the PAINT will not last long but neither will my TRUST in BP who seem to be terrorists of the worst kind right now !

MAYDAY TWELVE --- ARE YOU REALLY THAT STUPID SO CALLED EXPERTS ? --- DO YOU KNOW WHAT SMOOTH SURFACE IS ON A 32 or 36 INCH FLANGE --- How many BP Experts does it take to Cause a National Disaster for MONTHS ?

See Mayday 12, go outside and look for the fire protection Backflow Assembly possibly 8 or 10 inches in diameter.  Check with a ruler and tell me how many inches clearance on that smooth surface and think of machining a seal based ONLY on the smooth flange.     WHO IS RUNNING BP ?  Anyone knows how to stop this and seal it with special flat material in that 1 or 2 inch space so the machined object can be forced down on it….forget the riser as it is damaged.

Now you know NOW why we recommended Oceaneering to the U.S. Coast Guard Rear Admiral Landry to cut the pipe.  It was unexpected that someone would use a hydraulic shear cutting on stressed downward pipe from the bottom jamming same but fortunately they got it to release.  I have done the same thing with PVC SHEAR CUTTERS so they do not have the Patent on stupidity as I got that patent YEARS AGO. 

We also warned Rear Admiral Landry about the cut saws with teeth being used to cut from the bottom or stressed sides and had no idea someone would attempt a cut below the bent section of the riser FIRST before freeing the top with a V cut then positioning the diamond bit wheel on the flange to cut first half way around then re-position and cut the last half with crane supporting pipe……even recommended a WEDGE ONE QUARTER in two places for the cut to stop any crimping and give them a good cut that might have sealed had someone been thinking of using an overlapping U steel bent cap which had a way of being forced over the riser…..NO ONE CALLED…RAN OUT OF QUARTERS ?

Remember one item.  Hydraulic STEEL Sections could have clamped down on the bent riser then LEAD BALLS could have been forced into the Choke Valve and Kill Valve lines going UP to the flange stopping ALL FLOW of everything and filling the entire void below the crimp to the Flange FOREVER.  I am not a fan of STEEL BALLS but there are many out there in the giant equipment industry which also could be used for the KILLING of the riser flow but lead would spread out in pressure and form a better seal IMHO.  Notice NO ONE FROM BP or NO EXPERTS could see the forest right behind the trees so instead someone didn’t even think of crushing the damaged riser and a JUNK SHOT of lead balls.   Gee….not enough sleep since April 20 OF 2010 ?

Sadly the LMPR or Top Hat was NOT made thinking about the FLANGE sealing option.  BP and the great EXPERTS also forgot that perhaps Cameron had another FLANGE topside on the Planet for the model top exit straight flange STATS and DRAWINGS must be somewhere.  Cameron may even have one laying DOWN in a warehouse somewhere to send by BLIMP over to another customer thus the NEW flange could have been supplied and that cute NON FLOTATION piping, adding a check valve for hydraulic oil, could have been incorporated with a FLANGE TO FLANGE SHUTOFF on the TOP flange before using FLOTATION ONLY RISER FROM GE as shown on Drilling Ahead Dot Com site about Deepwater Horizon Explosion.

Before I risked a BLOWOUT under the 36 inch Casing it would indeed be CRITICAL for BP or USCG to get the true dimensions of the BOP top Flange then make a simple MACHINED sleeve to go over both flanges with another machined seal setting down on the clear flange surface which must be 2 or 3 inches with special fiber seal and weighted items with shutoff from Branko R. Babic patented idea from 1991.  ROV can pull a special fiber seal through the muck and gas to place carefully on the perhaps 2 inch area of the flange where the machined seal would set.  

WARNING --- ALL FUTURE BOP INSTALLATIONS SHOULD BE WITH TEES HAVING SHUTOFF VALVES PLUS LYING DOWN THE BOP ON THE SEA FLOOR AND A 90 WITH SHUTOFF AT THE TOP OF THE BOP TOWARD SURFACE. You know why now !!! 

Special THICK SOLID STEEL SLEEVE properly machined to fit tight over one especially with extra cut section below special flange seal and top flange critical side measurements then the second section can be a little loose over SECOND FLANGE which may be off one half inch maximum but we need that surface to tighten BOLTS holding this thick sleeve tightly to keep it from pulling off PLUS allow giant bolts to be turned using tapped holes in the new TOP HAT bottom, which may be 12 or 14 inches long and over 3 inches thick.

HEY EXPERTS then this would mean the TOP HAT FLANGE SEAL would hold down and with weights pressing down make a perfect……..P E R F E C T ……seal on the Flange.  The Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure Plug SLEEVE WITH BOLTS FOR SECOND FLANGE design would have the welded heavy steel riser fitted into the center cutout for same FLOW THRU USE then above that would be the super weights also welded onto the thick wall riser AND WELDED TO THE TOP HAT SEAL FLANGE SURFACE then finally a circular wheel gate valve and short section of super heavy thick wall riser perhaps 21 inches to the flange which ODDLY would match up to the GE Flotation RISER which would have zero weight with special flotation at 5,000 feet thus no pressure to NOT connect to the surface.

GEE MR. AND MRS. EXPERT. I can see it coming to my mind….hand me one of those thick wall SOCKET SETS and let us look at the possibilities FOR THIS IS SIMILAR AND I CAN WELD A PIPE PLUS WEIGHTS ON TOP OF ALL AS THEY ARE STEEL.  PAINT THEM RED, WHITE, BLUE FOR OUR UNITED STATES OF AMERICA VETERANS AND THOSE WHO HAVE DIED?  PAINT THE INTERIOR WITH SPECIAL thick epoxy  ?   How about placing that special seal material STUCK with super glue or even use tap screws to hold it in place when the unit is lowered over the RUNAWAY FLANGE ?  Would that stay and seal so the ROV does not have to pull anything through the Gas, Oil and Water pushing up like a runaway OIL WELL ?

URGENT ATTENTION --- The BOP manufacturer MUST have Plan C on getting Hydraulic lines to fit up and feed hydraulic OIL into the BOP from the surface so as before 5000 feet of hydraulic lines can be tied by even plastic cuff material if not metal clips to the riser outer flotation body allowing recharging of the BOP hydraulic system, replacement of the bad module and if ALL ELSE FAILS and people still can see with the Oil Fumes and Oil in the Air, someone can actually READ the BOP manual and find another way to close down this 8 story wonder.   My money would be on the Branko R. Babic FLANGE SEAL COUNTER PRESSURE PLUG MACHINED SLEEVE OVER THE BOP FLANGE as when you look….the circular valve will allow any ROV to TURN RIGHTY TIGHTY and shut down the flow of everything.

I woke up last night with the vision of the new Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure Plug using a sleeve over that flange and KNOW from experience as a Licensed Contractor in Florida it will not only work but guarantee success 100 PERCENT !   NO LEAKS ! BP able to recover the OIL, GAS and WATER provided they use super flotation GE RISER PIPE with shutoffs.    Did you find the GOLF BALLS and RUBBER put into a pressure push item Rear Admiral Landry ?   ONCE THIS IS SEALED PLEASE GET THE ROV’S LOOKING FOR THOSE MISSING 11 MEN ON THE BOTTOM !

My use of your FREE GIFT OF THE 1991 PATENTED  CPP now with pipe was to allow a SLEEVE made of solid metal machined and drilled to allow the RISER FLANGE SURFACE which is about 2 inches from edge all around on the first flange to be sealed using what we seal super big flanges here in backflow assemblies.  Think for a moment about installing this item right now stopping the leak since the people cutting ruined your flange riser.

I have asked the President to restrict future CASINGS to having a shutoff valve on up section of Casing then on outlet 90 degree section attached then to a BOP and top of BOP to use another flanged 90 degree ell with shutoff.  Such would allow FULL SHUTDOWN TEMPORARILY AND REPLACEMENT OF BOP IMMEDIATELY IF IT FAILED ….THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE PRESENT BOP APART TO FORENSICALLY DETERMINE THE TRUTH THAT SOMEONE KILLED THE ANNULAR AND MODULES FAILED PLUS HYDRAULIC FLUID WENT OUT INTO THE SEA BECAUSE NO CHECK VALVES ARE INSIDE THE ENTIRE BOP OR LINES TO THE SURFACE…….even that is stupid considering the size and price.  8 story tall unit on sea floor with potential earthquake to destroy the planet with oil and gas uncontrollably makes no sense !

Will you agree the special SEAL discussed in DEFCON 5 and MAYDAY TWELVE will work using your invention with only a SLEEVE over the BOP flange ?

Here is Ruth's and Ralph’s SEAL AT THE FLANGE OVER THE BOP modification to Branko R. Babic Counter Pressure Plug which will work.

NOW URGENTLY NEEDED INFORMATION.  EXACT MEASUREMENTS OF THE TOP FLANGE ON THE BOP SHOWING SIZE OF NUTS, BOLTS, ATTACHMENT CLEARANCE AND TOTAL SPACE FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES FOR MATCHING UP MACHINED OBJECT.

Think of the item machined resembling the socket unit above with the square one half or one inch drive actually being a 21 inch riser protruding some 8 feet tall.

Machined area thick wall perhaps 4 or 5 inches thick must go over the top flange of the BOP with the damaged RISER.  Up inside some 34 inches you will cut or machine

A SPECIAL LEDGE for the flange surface to match with the interior machined ledge sealing perfectly the top of the BOP ON THE FIRST FLANGE.  Down from that first flange the area will be machined allowing all of this unit to fit over the second flange where holes are drilled all around that section and super thick bolt tap made to allow super thick bolts with nuts or TEE sections to close them down on the second flange quickly keeping it from being pulled OFF the second flange.

In the machined special 2 or 3 inch seal on the flange top for flange number one you can attach a special material which will either be manually set over the spewing oil and gas damaged riser to sit down perfectly on the small sealing area and receive the SLEEVE with super heavy weight plus shutoff and flange to connect to the surface risers which should ONLY be flotation sections.

Once the unit is set down and locked down with the bolts having the 21 inch riser and weights already welded on the top section of the item figured above, the valve for shutoff can be partially closed to allow small restriction pressure as it is attached to the SURFACE RISER which at the TOP 200 feet should have another wheeled shutoff valve for emergency use.  What you do with the oil and gas coming up to the tanker is your business but at least ALL OIL LEAKS WILL BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY !

Brad:  Please see if you can make an illustration showing machining necessary to make the fit over the flange perfect yet allowing 1 inch or more free area for the second flange which might not be perfectly joined like the top one…maybe one inch or two inches all around would suffice.

Branko:  Will see if UNCLE, USCG OR OUR PRESIDENT can get you the exact circumference of the flange and exact distance which would seal but give me 1 to 2 inches and I would be extremely confident it will work.  IF the ROV can pass a claw vertically opened through the billowing oil then that same claw can hold a 2 inch wide special sealer like we use in Underground Utility FLANGE connections to set over the flange and be protecting the edge to 2 inches to receive the machined Branko R. Babic TOP HAT Counter Pressure Plug system now that someone screwed up the riser and will not get a new flange to use.  MAYBE those same people can get the exact figures needed to allow a 1/16th slip of the CAP with specific number of inches over top and edge down to the open space before second flange starts which might be ODD shaped or off direct center as the bolts could have moved it over so 1 half to 1 inch play would be needed on the bottom section of the BRANKO R. BABIC COUNTER PRESSURE CAP PLUG….. I Still think this man in England needs to be KNIGHTED BY THE QUEEN FOR HIS GIFT TO AMERICA AND THE WORLD !  SIR BABIC has a nice ring to it !

AND ORDER THEM TO RELEASE THE BOP MANUAL FOR REVIEW AS SOMETHING IS REALLY ODD ABOUT HAVING THESE 8 STORY ITEMS ON THE SEA BED TIED TO THE CASINGS WITH A FLANGE HAVING NO SHUTOFFS AND OUT OF THE TOP IS A RISER WHEN THE BOP SHOULD HAVE A FLANGE THEN TEE THEN FLANGES UP AND DOWN AND SIDEWAYS THEN THE BOP LAID OVER ON THE SEA BED AND A 90 WITH SHUTOFF THEN FLANGE GOING UP TO THE SURFACE IN FLOTATION RISER MATERIALS.  SUCH WOULD ALLOW SHUTTING OFF THE FLOW OF OIL AND GAS THEN UNHOOKING AND LIFTING THE BOP OUT OF THE SEA BED AND UP TO THE SURFACE TO REPLACE SAME AND FORENSIC ANALYSIS OF WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO CAUSE THIS DISASTER IN THE FIRST PLACE. PLEASE SEND THE CRITICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS IMMEDIATELY TO BRANKO R. BABIC, BRAD WEHDE IMMEDIATELY SO DRAWINGS CAN BE MADE SHOWING YOUR GENIUS ENGINEERS WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IMMEDIATELY AND THE DAMNED LEAK CAN….CAN BE SEALED IN 8 HOURS TIME USING THE TECHNIQUE AND NOT THE HAIL MARY PALE OVER SPILL AND IT WILL GO AWAY DREAMS OF BP STALLING FOR TIME !!!!

WILLING TO BET THERE ARE MORE THAN 100 RIGS IN THE GULF FACING THE SAME PROBLEMS CREATING A WORLDWIDE DISASTER IF THEY FALL OVER IN AN EARTHQUAKE OR TERRORIST ATTACK LET ALONE STUPIDITY OR FAILURE TO ACT WHEN THE USERS OR OWNERS KNOW THEY HAVE A MONUMENTAL PROBLEM NOT REPORTING SAME TO UNCLE INSPECTORS ?

P.S.  Did your physical plant people have you remove the Faucet Aerators on kitchen and bathroom sinks plus run water chlorinated all throughout the Whitehouse, especially rooms not used for weeks on end.  The chlorine leaves the stagnant lines and bacteria takes over.  Same applies to CAMP DAVID and your children’s schools which will close down in a few weeks for perhaps two months….NUM NUM BACTERIA GUMBO !  All ships, submarines, bases, buildings, rental units, motels, hotels, retreats and special camps are contaminated with super bacteria killing our young and old.   Whitehouse and Camp David should run the water every four days with chlorinated water and DECONTAMINATE THOSE AERATORS everywhere every 30 days with soaking them in pure chlorine bleach as what I use can kill !

Babic in Oxford is fully aware of the fact that with the proper measurements provided on the BOP FLANGE the Counter Pressure Plug with weight and shutoff plus flange to draw off items to the surface can be fitted to the top of Flange ONE which BP nor anyone else has ever called to see how EXPERTS would seal it if they do not want to take the old flange OFF and put a new machined one on with riser and shutoff.

Professionals do this EVERY MONTH somewhere in Florida utility groups.  ASK THE PROFESSIONALS !

Better have the U.S. COAST GUARD AND NAVY SEAL OFF THE GULF AS ANY TERRORIST REALLY KNOWS NOW HOW TO TAKE AMERICA AND ALL OTHER NATIONS TO THEIR KNEES……MAKE TWO OR THREE MORE LEAKS AS YOU CANNOT SEE WHAT US PROFESSIONALS KNOW WILL SEAL THIS WELL…..LET ALONE TWO OR THREE MORE.    Oh….I forgot….those INSPECTORS were too busy partying rather and really inspecting and they had no idea those 8 story BOP items were on a 36 inch casing and could be forced over but NOT SHUT DOWN OR CHANGED !

Has anyone got back in contact with you...or responded?

I did forward you material to an engineer (former) at Oak Ridge National Labs...to get your solution in front of them...hopefully through their contacts to Deepwater BP command.

Just know that was done.   I have put your proposal in front of the people I know who might assist to get to someone's attention...to contact you directly.  Same for Ralph's solution - will get that to review as well, if i have any opportunity to do it.

So....just know - I see your solution, and will do everything I can to get it to any responsible persons I know....ok?  count on that.

I do not favor an "solution"...whatever works, fastest, highest chance of success, least risk of making it worse....I for THAT ONE...ok?  :)

Keep me informed.   About 98% of the people I've spoken with....just short circuit....blank-out.  They just don't get it...they react like Im asking, "What's on the menu/Pizza selections"...that kind of attitude/ no sense of 'urgency'...or that it particularly matters.   Everyone thinks someone else is handling it...so they ALL pass the buck...around in circles.

Sad fact.  BP CEO spent some $50 MILLION on newspaper ads apologizing for the spill. He also gave investors $10.5 BILLION in returns on the stock perhaps.  According to President Obama in his news conference at the LA scene today SECOND VISIT.

CEO Hayward could have spent about $8,000.00 dollars on 042610 PLUS EVERY DAY THE OPPORTUNITY IS THERE STILL saving the GULF and creatures from the spill but instead he brought the famous SOMBRERO technology and still has not given any specifications for the BOP top flange so others can tell him how to seal his toy BOP and draw ALL oil and Gas to the surface ships. Some 21 MILLION GALLONS OF OIL SPILLED INTO THE GULF NOT COLLECTED TO DATE WITH MORE TO COME UNTIL DECEMBER ?

Gee…..let us see…..spend $8,000.00 and do this or spend over $300 MILLION plus loose how many MILLIONS all over the world and cause how much damage which will have to be PAID !    Gee….hard choices.  I cannot even get

What you observed earlier last week was the REPORTING TO THE FBI, DOJ, HCSO and Governors of a FELONY ACT. It is not quite too easy to be the only person asking for an immediate criminal investigation as well as having the USCG and U.S. Navy take over with Governors providing Special Contractors within the County, State or Municipal Government fully capable of replacing the FLANGE, MAKING A SHUTOFF THEN ON THE OUTGOING SIDE MAKING UP THE FLANGE TO TAKE A NEW 21 INCH RISER TO THE SURFACE.

Keep in mind the entire problem is ALL BOP’S IN THE GULF are standing up when they should be installed lying down but first the CASING attached to a SHUTOFF then TEE FULL FLOW UP and 90 DEGREE ELL WITH SHUTOFFS ON ALL SECTIONS OF TEE.  BOP COULD THEN BE MATCHED UP WITH THE HORIZONTAL TEE SHUTOFF THEN BOP LAID DOWN ON THE SEA BED AND BOP AT THE TOP HAS A FLANGE ATTACHED TO 90 DEGREE ELL WITH FLANGES THEN SHUTOFF GOING TOWARD FLOTATION RISER THEN FLANGE TOWARD RISER IS ATTACHED AND YOU ARE READY TO WORK.  

In case of emergency or total failure you only shut off two shutoffs, unhook the entire BOP, remove BOP and set down new one then open the inlet shutoff powering BOP and open the 90 degree ell shutoff sending all material to the SURFACE in that FLOTATION RISER.

Right this very minute, with a gash horizontal right side in the riser damaged will not let any of the TOP HAT contact same thus you have a tremendous amount of gas, oil and dreams spewing uncontrollably into the Gulf, Much worse than you had with the TOP HAT NOT THERE PERHAPS as trying to be CUTE the so called experts restricted the 21 inch flow down to perhaps 6 inches which is CRIMINAL as 18 inches are pushed back into the Gulf.  WHY IN HELL THEY DID NOT HAVE A 36 INCH RISER slipped down over the 34 or even 32 inch FLANGE surface is beyond me Professionally.  Such appears CRIMINAL !

The KEY now is more and more people calling on the President to STOP THIS LEAK BY ALLOWING TRUE PROFESSIONALS TO COME IN QUICKLY AND MANUFACTURERS OF BOP FLANGE TO GIVE THE GOVERNMENT ANOTHER WITH BOLTS AND EXTERNAL CONNECTORS FOR MUD AND HYDRAULIC LINES WITH CHECK VALVES FOR HYDRAULIC LINES THEN ALL CAN BE STRAPPED TO THE 21 INCH FLOTATION RISER TO THE SURFACE.   BOLTS LOCKED DOWN ON THE SECOND FLANGE BY A MACHINED SURFACE TIGHT WITH THE FIRST FLANGE AND SEALING ON THE 2 OR 3 INCH MACHINED SURFACE IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE THAT FLANGE…..THAT IS REALLY ODD !

ONCE THEY CHANGE THE FLANGE WITH NEW RISER THEY COULD HAVE ALL LINES IN FLOTATION RISER WITH NEW HYDRAULIC LINE WITH CHECK VALVE THEN ALL LEAKS WOULD BE INSTANTLY STOPPED.    BP DOES NOT WANT TO STOP THIS LEAK AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED ON 042610  SO TO ME THEY ARE TERRORISTS CREATING A NATIONAL EMERGENCY WHICH MAY GO INTERNATIONAL ON THE GULF STREAMS TO OVERSEAS CURRENTS KILLING ALL SEA LIFE IN THE GULF, EAST COAST AND ISLANDS THEN REALLY DAMAGING THE PLANTS SUCH AS DESALINATION PLANT SOUTH ON 41 FROM TAMPA….THAT HAS TO SHUT DOWN PERIOD !   MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS LOST BUT MILLIONS PAID TO KIDS, ADULTS AND MILITARY TRYING TO PICK UP OIL AND BLOBS WHEN THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NONE USING THE BRANKO RICHARD BABIC COUNTER PRESSURE PLUG OVER FLANGE OR BETTER YET THE STUPID RALPH CHARLES WHITLEY SR. IDEA TO REPLACE THE FLANGE ON TOP OF THE BOP.

REPLACE THE FLANGE ON TOP OF THE BOP COST WHAT MAXIMUM ?   $20,0000.00 AND THEY ARE SPENDING WELL OVER 350 MILLION PLUS.   PRESIDENT MAY SMILE AT ALL OF THOSE CITIZENS AND IMMIGRANTS WORKING ON THE SHIPS, BOATS, OIL CLEANUP AND BEACHES AS BEING NEW EMPLOYMENT……AT WHAT COST ……SO AMERICA CAN SEE THE SEA CREATURES AND CORAL REEFS DIE PLUS THOSE WORKING MAY DIE FROM EXPOSURE TO THE CONTAMINATED SOLVENTS SPRAYED AND IN THE WATER….OR THE OIL FUMES OR THE GAS FUMES…… GREAT WAY TO DESTROY AMERICA FOR THE NEXT TWENTY YEARS.

NOW WHAT IS REALLY SCARY IS THIS IS ONLY ONE PROBLEM……WHAT IF ANOTHER RIG STARTS LEAKING OR IF IT BLOWS WHEN THEY TRY TO DRILL INTO THE RISER.  INTERNATIONAL DISASTER UNRECOVERABLE !  

I TOLD A LADY TO DROP A STEEL UMBRELLA INTO THE CASING TO THE AREA WHERE THE OIL IS LOCATED ALLOW THE STEEL TO OPEN AND THEN PULL IT TIGHT AGAINST THE 7 INCHES IN THE OIL SEALING THE WELL PERMANENTLY.

I cannot print what she recommended I do with the umbrella to test it out !

PLEASE send the FBI and President Obama a signed e-mail requesting the immediate arrest of BP CEO Tony Hayward for this Attack against America and possible murder of 11 men on the Deepwater Horizon.   Petition also in the letter that the President step in immediately with full backing for NATIONAL DISASTER/EMERGENCY/SECURITY PURPOSES and take over FULLY this entire operation relieving even a RETIRED ADMIRAL THAD ALLEN who for reasons UNKNOWN daily wears a U.S. Coast Guard FOUR STAR ADMIRAL USCG UNIFORM AND FLIGHT SUIT when he is RETIRED.  At least General Honore understands HE WAS A GENERAL but retirement strips him of his right to wear the ACTIVE DUTY UNIFORM unless President Obama BRINGS HIM BACK ON ACTIVE DUTY.

We in Florida who work in these Professions licensed by the State and Certified by the State COULD HAVE SEALED EVEN THIS FIASCO LEAK IN 8 HOURS FROM 040610 USING THE BRANKO R. BABIC INVENTION COUNTER PRESSURE PLUT.   I can still seal it totally TODAY IN 8 HOURS with access to a machine shop for perhaps six to 8 hours making up the SUPER THICK SLEEVE SEALING OVER BOTH FLANGES WITH PRIMARY SEAL 2-3 INCHES OVER TOP FLANGE SURFACE AND HAVING 21 INCH PIPE, WEIGHTS, SHUTOFF AND FLANGE TO CONNECT WITH SURFACE FLOTATION RISER PIPE.  NO LEAKS or we can replace the entire FLANGE with a NEW ONE then have those cute Mud and Hydraulic Lines EXTERNAL with shutoff valve to flanges and hydraulic routed EXTERNAL to surface tied off to FLOTATION RISER if necessary to see if the hydraulic pressurized unit would allow shutting off the BOP.

Remember…… ALL BOP UNITS, OF WHICH THERE ARE OVER 200 IN THE GULF ALONE should be laying down with shutoff on flange with tee on up side of shutoff and shutoff on each outlet with horizontal outlet attached to a BOP with BOP top flange attached to a 90 DEGREE ELL with shutoff to riser but that independent HYDRAULIC LINE must have check valves to keep hydraulic fluid inside the BOP and inside the riser hydraulic line or you go back to the same DANGEROUS condition observed right this minute.

AGAIN --- GIVE ME AND SOME EXPERT MACHINISTS A NEW FLANGE, 90 DEGREE ELL WITH SHUTOFF, RISER 21 INCHES AFTER ANOTHER 90 DEGREE ELL IS ATTACHED TO TAKE THIS RIGHT NOW TO THE SURFACE AND GUESS HOW MUCH OIL AND GAS WILL BE GOING INTO THE GULF AFTER INSTALLATION………. Z E R O   GALLONS !   Time  8 hours after it is made up and ready to install.  Those ROV units can unscrew the BOLTS EXACTLY AS SHOWN ON TAPES FROM TOP THEN FROM DOWN UNDER FOR AREAS THAT HAVE TO HAVE CLEARANCE.  ALL DONE UNDER PRESSURE WHICH WILL BE MINIMAL WITH OPEN AREAS AT LEAST THROUGH THE 90’S WITH SHUTOFF THEN TURN THE SHUTOFF BACK DOWN JUST A LITTLE AND JOIN THE RISER WITH A SHUTOFF ON SAME AND OPEN UP THE VALVES THEN SEE IT GO UP TO THE SURFACE.

REMEMBER ---- RISER MUST HAVE WATERPROOF COVER ON THE WAY DOWN AND SEALED OFF FROM SURFACE TO BOTTOM UNTIL READY TO ATTACH THEN YOU ATTACH THE RISER, OPEN UP THE MAIN SHUTOFF AND OPEN UP THE RISER SHUTOFF THEN UP GOES THE OIL, GAS AND WATER INSIDE THAT SMALL SPACE BETWEEN FLANGE AND SHUTOFF….NO ICE….NO PROBLEM.   CHECK WITH THE EXPERTS….IT WILL AND CAN WORK IMMEDIATELY !

NO LEAKS !

The ROTO ROOTER VACTOR TRUCKS CAN SUCK UP ANYTHING WHEN ON A BARGE LINED UP LIKE TWO KINGS WITH A 12 OR MORE INCH SKIMMER.   Imagine what they can do with SUMP PUMPS IN GLOBS OF OIL DEEP plus 1000 feet down with IRRIGATION SUBMERSIBLE PIPE TO THE TOP INTO BARGES WHERE THOSE SPECIAL MATERIAL ROLLER MATERIALS SOAK UP THE OIL, FANS BLOW OFF THE WATER AND ROLLERS SQUEEZE THE OIL INTO BARGE AREAS TO BE PUMPED INTO SUPER TANKERS.  Or did you miss the EPA PDF on how to make the skimmers with rollers ?
